The Manager of Safety and Security will be the primary safety and security authority at the Carol Stream, IL distribution and logistics center.  The purpose of this position is to implement the appropriate safeguards/tools for the protection of company assets, employees, training, product, and visitors on Ingram Micro property.  The Manager serves as the on-site safety and security advisor to local distribution center management for all matters relating to the protection of wealth generators.  This position serves as the chairperson of health & safety committee and and manages all aspects of the workers compensation program.  This position has a dual reporting responsibility; directly reporting to the Director, Safety & Security U.S and the Sr. Manager, Safety and Security. Requirements: Bachelors degree and CPP preferred or equivalent experience. Five to seven years previous security experience supervision (preferred) along with three years of safety experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.  Knowledge of OSHA regulations and common terminology.  Knowledge of the operation of basic physical security systems, such as CCTV, video, alarm systems, access control, and fire life safety.. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
