Plant Manager

Summary:
Plans, directs and coordinates manufacturing activities: Production, Engineering and Inspection to achieve maximum profit growth and return goals. Directs all manufacturing operations for efficient and economical production at the lowest cost consistent with quality standards, volume requirements, production schedules, and delivery dates.
Duties:
Supervises, directs and oversees all production departments.
Directs and coordinates production activities with scheduling, engineering, maintenance, and quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources and equipment.
Recommends methods for working conditions, processes and equipment.
Participates in formulating and administering Company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives.
Mentors department leaders on reporting, performance reviews, on time delivery and scheduling.
Reviews and analyzes production and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformance with product specs.
Reviews and recommends department purchases, training initiatives, capital equipment, and supplier utilization.
Requirements:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in all phases of production management, supervisory responsibilities and manufacturing work environment.
Excellent computer skills, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Able to lift, push or pull up to 45 lbs.
Specific vision ability--close 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20 is required.
Pre-employment: Vision Test, background check, drug screen, mini physical.
