Customer Service Associate

o To provide excellent service displaying empathy to callers regarding claims for multiple lines of business, including but not limited to, expediting the claims process, and providing detailed claim notes on all calls, resolving issues with one call/one person response, and directing calls to appropriate escalation path as needed. o Assigns new claims to the appropriate claims handler. o Enters verbal and written application information that meets both the internal and external customers' requirements accurately into the appropriate system. o Contacts the customer by telephone, written correspondence and/or the appropriate system regarding documentation required to process a claim, required time frames, and claim status. o Communicates clearly and professionally with the customer by telephone. o Makes informed decisions within the parameters of our obligations. o Handles approximately 40 to 70 inbound calls daily from customers for a variety of queries. o Ability to type 35 words per minute (WPM). o Participates in and maintains a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team. o Performs other duties as assigned. o Perform tasks based on the needs of the company or differing situations. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
